It's Friiiiday! It's Friiiday!

...wait...

No. Not really.

But, it is Ryan's Friday! That means I get my hubbly for a WHOLE 3 days before he goes back on this ridiculous work schedule. But like I said before,  I can't complain!

What do we have planned for the next few days?

Weeeeellll.... we are HOPING to get Ryan's FIRST paycheck on Friday.

We've been broke for so long, that the $$$ is already burning a hole in my pocket, & I don't even have it yet! (& thats NOT good, lemme tell ya...)

*I Swear, I need to join a 12-step program for Window-Shop-aholics*

Today we are just gonna relax, lounge around, and enjoy having no plans... 

because this weekend kicks off the start of what we call 

"JulyMADNESS!"

We have something goin on almost

EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

of the month...

As for the weekend:

Friday - I'm hoping to maybe get Comcast scheduled as a surprise for Dani... Maaaybeee.

Saturday -  My wonerful Wifey/Bestie Melissa turns 21!!! (Sheesh, what a Youngin!) So her hubby is getting a babysitter & we are TAKING her OUT!! Karaoke, drinkin, pool... 

Maybe the casino for some dancing... Caaaan't wait!

Sunday -  The hubby goes back to work, while I watch little Niecie & get the house in tip-top shape since Momma & Danielle come home 2 days later!! I do get to end the night with a Mexican Fiesta For my lovely Gal-Pal Katie! (Her Bday is same as Melissa's!)

Then we get to start up the week with a big  

...Hee Hee...

 I'm so excited!!!

What in the WORLD?!

Holy poo on a Tuesday morning!

It has been SOOOOOOO busy around our house this past week, that I have unfortunately not been very attentive to my blog & all of my lovely blogger friends!

(Im SOOOOOO sorry dearies!!!)

Ryan has recently started his new job (YAY!) at GMCR ... which is absolutely wonderful, but since he works the swing shift, it makes our 1 car scenario slightly irritating. With a 15 year old in the last week of Freshman year of High School, not having a vehicle at a split second notice is NOT acceptable. So with dance practices, car washes, cramming for end of year finals at friends houses, preparing for her summer vacation in Hawaii, & a boyfriend who seems to need her within close proximity at all times or fear of DEATH.. 

(or something like that.) I have had to drive Ryan to & from work, 30 mins each everyday. Fine enough in its own.. gives me time to think ..sing at the TOP of my lungs. :)

Along with Ryan's new job does come some good perks...

* A new Keurig Machine

* Discounts on coffee

* A wonderful benefits package

* Discounts on ANY Energy Star appliances

...among like a trillionbillion other amazing things!

So, I can't really complain now can I? 

(Now, Doesn't he look sexy in his hair&beard nets... Calls himself the "SexySanta")

...Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand...

TODAY is the big day!! 

Danielle is taking her FIRST ever airplane ride to go visit our Momma & spend 

a whole two weeks with her... in HAWAII !!!

Yea, I know. Right now, I kinda hate her too...

but What the HECK am I gonna do for the next two weeks? 

Dani & I hang out almost everyday! & with Ryan working the swing shift, 

my life is going to be especially  booooooooring!!!

Maybe this means I will spend more time tending to my very ignored blog... 

hmm...

& I love the look of the columns out in the water in this one...

(Though Vala seems to have had some weather troubles when she went!)

She also send some Maps & info... Pretty awesome reading.

& of course.... The CANDY!!!

Lots of chocolate & licorice!

(Mostly black licorice, which is great because it's my FAVORITE!!) 

It was so neat to get to experience things from so far away...

Postcards from me

Kay, So obviously either I'm stupid,
or the dang post office is.

Cause I got THREE of my post cards back...
& not in the "Return to sender" type way.

Nope.

Like somehow, the post office thought my addy
was the one it was being SENT to.

DANG.

So, Chrissy, Eschelle, & Erin...

Sorry bout that.

Don't know what happened.. but I will be RE-sending them tommorrow. 

Hopefully they actually get to you this time.

There is only one I haven't gotten back, & that's the one I sent to Nadine... but I have yet to hear if she has received it... We will see. :)

I LOVE Snail Mail!

 

As rediculous as it is i'm just soooo excited...

(I feel like a little kid on Easter.. finding that first Easter egg.

I received TWO postcards in the mail today!

I know, I know.. seriously? I'm this excited over some snail mail??

but, YEA!

The first was from my Momma..

She just had her first trip EVER to Hawaii!

When she asked me what I wanted.. i asked for a postcard sent from there...

(Well I got exactly that.)

I called & teased her when I got it, cause I expected a little more writing... but she just laughed... "Oh, I didn't think of that!" haha I love her...

The next one I got was from a new friend named Nadine

Recently I ran across some gals who said they send postcards back & forth, I thought this sounded like alot of fun & asked if I could join in..

(It would be nice to get something in the mail that wasn't BILLS)

This is what I received from her:

plus, gotta love a girl that chooses pinkish purple ink over bland black or blue.. ;)
