Preggo life is whoppin' my butt.

Things have been moving pretty
swiftly the past few weeks.

Ryan & I are doing are best to keep up.

First, we did the 3-hour glucose test. It sucked HORRIBLY & with my hypoglycemia kicked in to full gear, I was extremely uncomfortable & sick by the end of it.. but thankfully everything came out good! No diabetes. :)

Though I have started to gain weight back...
but that was to be expected at this stage in the pregnancy.

(I still have to take this months picture)

We went up to talk to Dr. Rockstar about the results & do our monthly appointment, and every thing was fine... He told me I was no longer high-risk & it was looking like I didn't have to come back in for another 4 weeks! I was very happy.. until he went to listen to the babies heartbeat.. & something was off.

The babies heart was skipping a beats & double beating.

I started to worry.. Dr. Rockstar put me on the monitor immediately for a NST & confirmed that there was some irregularities. He said to have them look at it with an ultrasound the next day at my follow-up with the specialist. When we did that, they again confirmed the irregularities. Apparently my little one has a flap in his heart, that is to big for his heart, & it's touching a part of the heart that it's not supposed to & spazing it out a little.

o.0

Now according to all of the doctors this is something that isn't common, but isn't rare. Something that shouldn't be freaked out about, but shouldn't be ignored. Something that normally clears itself up before or shortly after birth, but can lead to a more serious arrhythmia.

Okay.

To me...
thats sounds like a HELL of alot of unknowns & not-sures & we-will-just-have-to-see's.
To many for my comfort level anyways.

I was informed that I was now being recommended to be put on NST once a week for the next 4 weeks. Just to monitor and make sure everything was okay.

Atleast from the appointment I got some cute ultrasounds, & free 3d ultrasounds!

Next, Ryan & I began the preparations for being temporarily moved back to the Seattle area until after the baby is born. After a few trips back & forth & a long two weeks being stuck in Seattle because of to much snow in the pass.. we finally have pretty much everything to last over here for the next 2 and a half months.

Also,Ryan & I have now started our baby classes together in Spokane... & I've been pretty consistently in conversation with Gibby & Mimi in planning my
2 baby showers. :) That I'm very excited about!!

On top of all that, Ryan & I came to the conclusion,
that we are changing the babies name.

It's been Kaleb forever...
but we just aren't feeling it anymore. So the name has been changed:

Kai Nicolas Russell

I'm so happy with the change...
and though it is taking us awhile to switch over, it's really something I'm satisfied with!

And that's pretty much it. as of right now, I have one more NST left, & his heart is still consistently showing PAC's... so more than likely They will want to continue monitoring me. Though Dr. Rockstar is pretty confident right now that it doesn't seem to be affecting the baby.. he's still extremely active and happy. So that's good news. :)

I'll keep you all posted as much as I can... Danielle no longer has internet at her house (Where we are staying while we are in Seattle) so I don't get to be online much.

I miss talking with all of you! I'm still on

on the daily.. and normally pretty friggin lonely.... hit me up!! :)

Body, why do you hate me?

First off I apologize if this post isn't as aesthetically pleasing a normal.. I'm writing this from my phone as I sit and wait the 3 HOURS to do this stupid glucose test.

I HATE doing those stupid tests in the first place, & being Hypoglycemic, I've done my share... & they suck. But this 3-hour? The king of suck. I mean really... I haven't eaten in the last 13hours, which is like... As moral sin as it IS... Plus having to drink that nasty ass drink. & now, I'm sitting here, dizzy as hell... & it's only been 15 minutes!!

... I have 3 HOURS to go still...

I'm soooooooo hungry

Sometimes, I hate my life -_-

Sunday Social (My Childhood)

Joining in today for:

Sunday Social

This weeks questions: All about your childhood

1. What was your first car?
The first car ever in my name is my 1994 Pearl Royal Blue Honda Civic, 4door...
Sam.

I still own her, she is a great car & has lasted my hubby and I a long time.
But, the car I consider my first... My first love... was our 1987 Jet black Mazda Rx7...
Rex.
Love of my life that car.. I held on to that thing for years after it blew the APEX seals, hoping someday we could fix him back up.. but eventually, the truth became clear that I would have to let him go. The day I told my dad to haul him off for me.. I cried. <3

2. Who was your favorite childhood teacher?
I dont think I could pick just one..
4th - Mr. Montoya
5th - Mr. Stewart
7th - Mr. Kolding
10th - Mr. Mullay*
*Prob my top fav... He knew my hubby & I from day one, & was such an awesome guy!!

3. Were you involved in any sports/extracurricular activities?

Soccer, Vollyball, Gymnastics, Choir, Band, & Auto
*Thats me at the bottom right*

4. What was your favorite birthday party?
I had a huge sleepover when I was like... 12 or something. Pizza, candy, balloons, Scary movies, & about 6-8 of my friends. :)

That and the one where I thought it would be the GREATEST idea
to invite all 4 of my "Best" friends..
That was scary, but still one of the bests!

5. Who was your teen celebrity crush?
oooh boy.
The one & only JTT & Erik Von Detten
What can I say, I had a thing for goofy blondes with sultry eyes.. yum!

6. What show/movie did your parents not allow you to watch?
uhm? I wasn't really told I couldn't watch something, unless it was like a sex scene or really violent. My momma didn't really let me watch really scary movies, but that was okay with me, cause I hate scary movies. :P

Uuugh. I feel like crap.

Literally.

I've had this page open for a few days, and I keep thinking
"Hey, I should write today."

...& then I don't.

I lay on the couch, with barely enough energy to feed myself, which doesn't happen as much as it should since my nausea has been in such high gear the last 3-4 days. I've barely eaten. Which I know isn't helping with the energy or the nausea itself.

uugh.

Miserable.

That's what I am.

& I have sooooo much to do too.

Ryan comes home on Tomorrow! I'm so friggin' excited! I haven't seen my hubbly in almost 2 weeks! That is way to long for me, especially since I'm still not comfortable driving over here quite yet... so that means I've been TRAPPED in this HOUSE for the last TWO WEEKS!

-_-

I know that is not helping either.

I'm getting better though, I can feel it.. especially since I'm able to sit up long enough to write this post. & then next week, I go back over to Seattle for a couple doctors appts. A check up, an ultrasound, & a stupid 3-hour glucose test.  but I'm staying positive, cause I get another ultrasound... I get to look in on my beautiful baby again! I know I've already gotten a ton more ultrasounds than normal, so I'm not complaining. :)

...but I am nervous...

Cause I keep having random thoughts, daydreams, and very VERY detailed dreams that I find out my little boy is actually a girl!! I wouldn't be surprised with how many times they have gone back and forth on things... but I really hope not! I've gotten really cozy with the idea that I'm going to have my little boy in my arms in the next 2 1/2 months!

So hopefully no surprises, just good news and a few new cute ultrasounds.

...But just in case, I'm waiting till we get back to paint the nursery..

Just to be sure.

Are you the next Monthly Featured Blogger?

With trying to get this blog back on track, I'm working really hard to try to bring back all the little pieces that brought this place to life. With that, I would like to bring back the:

MONTHLY FEATURED BLOGGER

Here in the blogging world, our community is very intertwined. We all have our own group of blogs that we (slightly) favor above others to read daily. Some we found through friends, & others we stumbled across on our own.  Because I like to broaden my horizons, and others as well...
I started MFB!

Each month I feature a new blogger chosen by the MFB from the month before. This way, we get to know our fellow bloggers a little more personally, and get to meet new bloggers as well!
I would like to start this back up next month.. and would love to feature any one of you!!
If you are interested in being a MFB here in the pocket, or have any questions let me know

Feel free to click HERE to read any of the past MFB features.

I would like to get the newest post for the MFB up by March 1st!

Can't wait to hear from all of you! :)
