Getting to know Channing..

Two words that can make almost any female with a working libido pay attention.

I mean.. really..

YEA. I thought so.

So when I ran across some random tidbits of information about this handsome piece of man-meat,
I felt a moral obligation to share it with my fellow ladies.

#1 - He was a model.
Uhm... Duh. Looking like that? It would be a crime of hummanity not to have been.
 

#2 - He worked with Ricky Martin.
He started is big acting career getting paid $400 to be a dancer in
 the music video for "She Bangs."



The picture to the left is him getting his face painted for the part as the bartender.
It's a really small part, & you only see him for a split second 2 different times, but the second time, he pulls out a spin that looks vaugely similar to that from Magic Mike :)

#3 - He didn't go to acting school!
Even though he had alot of experince dancing & modeling, acting was something he had never studied. He said later in his career that he only accepted his role on "Dear John" So that he could learn from Lasse Hallström because learning on set would be the only way he could truely improve.  

#4 - He is a Fairy fan!
 Seriously! Him & his wife Jenna share a love for the mythical little lady-bugs so much, that they even had a fairy-themed wedding cake topper!

#5 - Shares a matching tattoo with...
 His wife Jenna, who else? It reads "Side by Side" in Balinese..
 "We wanted to do something symbolic. It was one of our vows to eachother!"
Oh! Super sweet!!

#6 - His motto for life:
"Good friends & beautiful futures."
Sounds good to me!

#7 - He owns a production company.
33andOut Productions is the company he owns with Jenna. Channing was recently stated saying "I really don't want to be in anymore movies that I don't produce... I don't have any interest in not being on the ground floor creating it."

#8 - He lost his wedding ring
Awe... he is a normal dude.. Jenna wasn't thrilled. lol

#9 - He's burnt his "bits"...
While filming "The Eagle of the Ninth" in Scotland...

Took me a minute to find out how, but I finally found THIS article about what happened. This is a quote from the article.. Channing's re-count of what happened:
"The only way to keep warm was by pouring a mix of boiling water and river water down your suit. We were finally done shooting for the day, and one of the crew guys asks if I want to warm up before I go. I'm like, Nah, I'm good. And then I thought, Why not? Thing is, he'd forgotten to dilute the kettle water. So he poured scalding water down my suit. And I was trying to pull the suit away from my body to somehow get away from the boiling water, and the more I pulled the suit away, the lower the water went. It just went straight down and pretty much burned the skin off the head of my d*ck."


#10 - He really WAS a stripper!
YEEEEESSSSS.
He went by the stage name of Chan Crawford. Which is one of the reasons he was Sooooooo amazingly drool-worthy in 'Magic Mike'.. Especially since it was based on his career  in exotic dancing when he first left Highschool.



Now Wwhhhhhhhyyy did I not know this when it was STILL going on?!
This... is.. just...mmmmmm!

I think that's a good note to end on.. since I'm sure I'm not the ONLY girl who's gonna watch THAT video again...
