Ingredients
For the cinnamon-vanilla vodka:
For the martini:
- Marshmallow cream, for the glass
- Fine graham cracker crumbs, for the glass
- Cocoa powder, for the glass
- 1 ounce Drambuie (honey-flavored scotch)
- 1 ounce chocolate liqueur (preferably Godiva)
- Dash of chocolate bitters
- 2 ounces heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Toasted marshmallow, for garnish (optional)
Directions
Make the cinnamon-vanilla vodka:
Pour the vodka into a jar; add the cinnamon sticks and cover. Store in a cool, dark place, shaking the jar every day or so, for 1 week. Strain; discard the cinnamon sticks.
Make the martini:
Coat the rim of a martini glass with marshmallow cream (if it's too thick for rimming the glass, mix with some water). Sprinkle some graham cracker crumbs and cocoa powder on the marshmallow cream. Lightly toast the marshmallow rim with a kitchen torch.
Put 1 ounce of the cinnamon-vanilla vodka, the Drambuie, chocolate liqueur and chocolate bitters in a cocktail shaker filled with ice; shake until frothy. Strain into the prepared martini glass. Rinse out the shaker and refill with ice. Add the heavy cream and honey and shake vigorously (without the ice) until slightly thick. Spoon the heavy cream mixture over the cocktail. Garnish with a toasted marshmallow.
Enjoy!

I think you figured it out! The thing with IntenseDebate is that you have to go to the Old Blogger format (if you have the new format), go to Settings > Comments and scroll down to "Comments appear in new posts." To make room for ID, you have to select "no." If you get rid of ID, you have to go back to Old Blogger and select "yes." Complicated but it works. It's what I had to do, especially since I don't use Blogger to write posts.

ReplyDeleteThe thing about it now, though, is that I've noticed that if you want the "Reply" feature, you have to switch the format to "Embedded below post." Otherwise, I'm not sure you can reply to comments :/
ReplyDeleteYea, thats what I figured out by whim, I went to go re install the ID widget, saw that in the steps, & realized I forgot to put it back to normal. but how do I do the "Embedded" thing?
ReplyDeleteLooks like you figured it out (Settings > Posts and Comments, drop-down menu to the right of Comment Location), although I'm not seeing the reply button. Maybe the next new post?
ReplyDeleteIs this the new comment system?? or bloggers comment system? I've been MIA...this pregnancy has been tough... I should blog again, lol...
